WPS Documents’ revision tracking and annotation features provide an efficient method for teams to co-edit, audit changes, and document feedback throughout the writing process


From group projects to final proofreading, these functions promote clarity, accountability, and precision in every stage of document development


Enable change tracking by opening your document in WPS Writer and selecting the Review tab from the ribbon menu


There, you will find the Track Changes button


Simply select it to turn on the tracking mode


Any modification you perform—whether adding words, erasing passages, or wps下载 changing font styles—will automatically appear with distinct visual indicators


Insertions appear underlined in a different color, while deletions are shown with strikethrough text

Browse edits individually by clicking the forward and backward navigation buttons under the Review section


Once a change is highlighted, apply your decision by clicking the corresponding Accept or Reject command


If you want to accept or reject all changes at once, there are options labeled Accept All Changes and Reject All Changes


Toggle between the Final Version (with all changes accepted) and the Original Version to compare before-and-after states


Additionally, you can toggle whether to show or hide comments by using the Show Comments button, which helps declutter the view when you are focused on reading the content


You can personalize the appearance of tracked edits in WPS Documents


Adjust the color and labeling preferences in the Track Changes menu—choose from multiple hues and toggle editor initials on or off


To ensure your contributions are properly labeled, go to File > Options > User Information and enter your name and initials


Remember to save your document frequently, especially when multiple people are contributing, to avoid losing any tracked changes or comments


When preparing the final copy, switch off change tracking to ensure recipients receive a clean, unmarked version


You can do this by clicking Track Changes again to disable it, then accepting all remaining edits


The final recipient will view only the clean, edited version with no visible revision indicators
