Updated August 13, 2024 by Erik Petrovich : Now that the Elden Ring DLC has been out for a while, it's no secret that General Radahn makes a return at the end of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, as Miquella's consort, and as the final boss. His new armor set and weapons can be purchased after defeating this version of Radahn, and this guide has been updated to reflect these new Elden Ring General Radahn build options. The Starscourge cosplay wouldn't be complete without a series of Gravity-based attacks, too, so this guide has been updated to also include some new recommendations on the best spells and Ashes of War for the best General Radahn build Elden Ring players can put together.

General Radahn's armor is only unlockable after defeating the Starscourge, and his greatsword and bow can only be unlocked by trading in his Remembrance with Enia. To purchase the full Radahn armor set, speak with Enia after the battle to find each piece (head, chest, legs, hands) for sale. They are very heavy but very protective, so be sure you have points in Endurance to be able to dodge roll.

Among the mage armors in Elden Ring , Azur's Glintstone Set is one of the best options for dealing with enemies and bosses who wield Lightning damage. This armor is particularly valued by magic builds, not only for its strong defense, but also for its striking appearance, highlighted by a large green glintstone on the helmet and several smaller ones on the shoulders. Additionally, the set's crown increases the damage of powerful spells such as Comet Azur, Glintstone Cometshard, and Comet (at the cost of increased

These aren’t exactly mandatory, but they do pair well with the above weapons. So, for starters, try to get the Shard of Alexander talisman, as it gives a big buff to the attack power of weapon skills. It can be obtained at the conclusion of Iron Fist Alexander’s questline. Next is the Lord of Blood's Exultation talisman, which increases attack power if blood loss is inflicted upon an enemy. This can be won from Esgar, Priest of Blood in the Leyndell Catacombs . Another handy talisman is the Godfrey Icon ; this one buffs charged spells and skills.

One of the heaviest armor sets in the game, the Fire Prelate Set grants almost unparalleled Poise and defense, not only against Physical damage but also against Lightning and Fire. It is one of the armors in Elden Ring that gives one's character an 'oversized' l

Moreover, there's a Stonesword Key refund once players get past the killer chariot puzzle . If players explore a bit and also manage to destroy all the chariots via the puzzle, then they'll be rewarded with the Tree Sentinel armor set which is even better than the Crucible Axe set and is on par with General Radahn's armor.

Once again, a named NPC will invade and players must defeat them to get the weapon. As for Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear, they’ll have to travel to Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum and defeat the Lord of Blood himself in order to get his weapon. All of these weapons are not necessary to have on hand, but they make for a nice range of options. Of the three, though, Rivers of Blood is the most usable, so go for that one at the very least. Of course, these will all need to be upgraded in order to get the full effect.

Updated on August 12th, 2024, by Vlad Mazanko: Lightning damage has always been one of the most dangerous damage types in Elden Ring. That's why lightning-resistant armor can be a literal life-saver, especially in late-game areas, where the game has more cruel surprises involving lightn

In addition to his armor and weapons, there are Talismans and other items that can play into the strengths of a Starscourge-inspired build. The Carian Filigreed Crest reduces FP consumption for weapon skills, which is incredibly helpful for the Starscourge Greatsword's high-FP Ash of War. The Shard of Alexander increases the damage of this ability, too. Choose the Claw Talisman if you want to spend most of your time in close combat, or the Arrow's Reach Talisman to increase the range and effectiveness of the Lion Greatbow .

In the easternmost part of the Consecrated Snowfield, right at the frozen river , players can find the Cave of the Forlorn. The boss in this area is cheap since it's just a reused Misbegotten Crusader Soulsborne Enemy Design and the cave is also home to some reused Misbegotten enemies though one could argue that their being there is lore-friendly.

In a game as massive as Elden Ring, there are any number of ways to build one’s character and engage the many powerful boss enemies that inhabit The Lands Between. For most of the game, one really can’t go wrong with how they develop their character, but that may not be entirely true when it comes time to confront the final few bosses near the end. Unless one possesses truly top-tier skills, this is probably the time to re-spec into a more-focused build capable of using one’s loadout to the fullest. There are many of these to choose from of course, but one that focuses on bleed is probably the most effective for struggling players. So, let’s get into it.
